Heather's sixth-grade class was more
than a little upset when she explained
what her 4-H Club planned to do
later this month with its not-a-pet turkey.
Soon after one of the second-graders
gave Binky some of Ms. Klein's latte...
Mr. Benson began the all-school
assembly with a spirited analysis
of the previous day's election results.
And then, in the middle of Language Arts,
the sugar from all that candy corn
kicked in.
Keeping a sharp eye out
for school board members
who had vetoed any Halloween celebration,
students take part in the school's first
Harvest Festival costume party.
